I build software that just works.

I work as a Java Developer at Digit General Insurance in Pune. I joined in June 2023. I build the backend for self-service, WhatsApp chat, bots, CRM, partner and claims apps.

I mostly use Java 21, Spring Boot, Hibernate, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Redis and WebSockets. I like hard problems — like running many tasks at the same time, and sending each chat to the right agent without mistakes.

I handle a feature from start to end: understand the need, design it, write safe code, test it and support it in production. I always try to leave the code cleaner and safer than before.

  • Build and look after Java 21 and Spring Boot services for self-service, WhatsApp chat, bots, CRM, partner and claims apps.
  • Work with databases and messaging using Hibernate, PostgreSQL, Kafka and Redis.
  • Built a fast bulk upload for partner contacts. It uses PostgreSQL COPY and runs many quote requests at the same time.
  • Improved live chat: each chat goes to the right agent, agents never get too many chats, and customers get reminders when they are quiet.
  • Added Keycloak login security to all the WhatsApp self-service APIs.
  • Fix production bugs, fix security scan issues, update old libraries and write JUnit tests.

Bulk Partner Contact Upload

Uploads a large number of partner contacts in the background. It saves data fast with PostgreSQL COPY, runs work in parallel, gets insurance quotes at the same time, and shows the job status. Fully covered with tests.

WhatsApp Insurance Chat

WhatsApp flows for customers, partners and agents: check policy status, get renewal quotes as PDF, upload health claim documents, give feedback, send voice notes that turn into text, and close tickets automatically.
